Well Child Visits

Caring for kids of all ages

Whether you have a newborn or a teen that's about to head to college, we can serve as your child's primary care provider. Regular well child visits are important to keep kids on track with immunizations, assess development, and identify conditions early when treatment is most effective. Virtually all health plans cover well child visits with no out-of-pocket cost.

Newborn to 3 years old

Your child will never grow and learn faster than their first few years of life. During this time, closely monitoring growth and developmental milestones is incredibly important to identify physical and mental conditions early. Keeping to a regular vaccination schedule is important to ensuring your child stays healthy. These visits are an important time for you to ask questions and raise any concerns you have.

4 years old to 10 years old

Starting school brings many new changes. New challenges and concerns come up as your child become increasingly social. With children developing at different rates, it’s hard to know if your child is on track. Learning disorders and social problems are easier to identify and treat when caught early at this age. Continued regular visits help to identify changes to your child’s health and establish baselines.

11 years old to 20 years old

Your child is becoming more independent and taking on more responsibility. As they approach adulthood, concerns continue to evolve and grow more complex. At this age, pre-teens and teens have more opportunity for risky behavior. Mental health and sexuality present new challenges. Sports become more intense. Regular visits at this age are important to ensure your child makes a successful transition to adulthood.
